Nasino

A small village situated in the heart of the Pennavaire Valley. The highest peak is Mount Galero (1708 m), which overlooks the sea on the Ligurian side, while on the Piedmont side it dominates Garessio (CN).

In the territory, there are small lakes and rock walls for climbers. Along the river’s course, various ancient bridges and the ruins of the castle can be seen in the Vignoletto hamlet, strategically built by the Del Carretto family, who administered the municipality from the year 1000.

The oldest and most worthy of a visit is Vignolo, which was already present when the ancient Romans built structures in the valley.
