Trekking and Yoga
Trekking to Monte della Guardia and meditation on the mountain with Pamela Rossignolo, Csen certified yoga teacher.
Upon returning to the refuge, a regenerative yoga practice and, finally, lunch at the Pian dell’Arma refuge.

E-bike tour of Monte Armetta
The Monte Armetta (CN) e-bike tour, departing from Ormea, offers you an exciting experience surrounded by nature and the breathtaking views of the Ligurian Alps.
The route starts from Ormea, a picturesque town located at the foot of the mountains. From here, you can take the road that leads to Monte Armetta.
The climb can be challenging, but thanks to the assistance of the e-bike, you can tackle it with ease.
During the journey, you will be surrounded by uncontaminated nature and you will be able to admire the beauty of the woods and alpine meadows. Along the way, you will also encounter small mountain villages and enjoy the tranquility of the area.
Once you arrive at the top of Monte Armetta, you will be rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the valley below. You will be able to enjoy a moment of relaxation and admire the landscape before starting the descent.
The descent will be fun and adventurous, and you can enjoy the feeling of freedom as you speed down the trails.

Theatre in a mountain hut
Also this year, Alice Bignone and Ermanno Rovella of the Salz Company will give us an exciting theatrical afternoon by offering us “Palestinian Readings”, a collection of poems, songs and monologues by authors and citizens.
The earth, the anger, the absence to tell the stories of the daily reality of a people over the last century and of the painful and sweet relationship with their land and, therefore, with their identity.
At the end of the show, it will be possible to have an aperitif or have dinner in the Pian del’Arma refuge.

Occitan Festival
Afternoon at the refuge with the Raskas Company who returns to make us dance to their Occitan music.
Before the party, it is possible to have lunch at the Rifugio Pian dell’Arma which will serve typical dishes of Occitan cuisine.

Feldenkrais & Soft Trekking Weekend
We are waiting for you to spend two days together in total relaxation, wellness and conscious movement in contact with nature.
Starting from the Pian dell’Arma refuge, we will immerse ourselves in a natural and wild context enjoying its therapeutic power, we will explore processes of awareness through movement (Cam®) to listen and understand how to use the body in an efficient and functional way, we will alternate walks on the paths to moments of immersion in nature.
We will be guided by Manuela Marchese, Feldenkrais ® method teacher and experiential educator in Nature who continues to walk on the path of Awareness, continuing her training in Gestalt Counseling and Bodywork.
This weekend she will share her love for nature and her knowledge with those who are searching for themselves and want to live an experience of general well-being.
The activities will all take place outdoors.
The program may undergo variations depending on the needs and desires of the group and the climate.
In case of bad weather the weekend will be postponed.

Lavender Festival
We are waiting for you at the refuge for an entire day dedicated to this fragrant and beautiful flower!
You will have the opportunity to grow lavender together with the Riviera dei Fiori Lavender Association and then later enjoy this flower in a delicious lunch prepared by Giulia from the Pian dell’Arma Refuge.
To conclude the day, Cesare Bollani will present the project “Lavender of the Riviera dei Fiori” and will talk about the importance of the cultivation of this flower and its processing.

Bagna Càuda Lunch
If you like Bagna Càuda, this is the right opportunity to go up to the refuge!
Bagna Càuda is a typical gastronomic specialty of Piedmontese cuisine with a strong and decisive flavor made with anchovies, olive oil and garlic. It is served with typical seasonal vegetables, raw and cooked, to be dipped in this sauce.
The Bagna Càuda from Rifugio Pian dell’Arma is prepared only and exclusively with Vessalico Garlic, a Slow Food Presidium.

Turnip Lunch
The annual appointment with Rape di Caprauna, a Slow Food presidium, large, very sweet and yellow-fleshed mountain turnips has arrived.
Our wonderful turnips, which we grow at the refuge with so much dedication and effort, will be the protagonists of this lunch, present in all courses.

Mixed Boiled Lunch
Bollito Misto is one of the most important dishes of Piedmontese cuisine.
It is a rich and substantial second course made up of various cuts of meat which are boiled for a long time and then served together very hot with the addition of boiled vegetables and the inevitable “bagnetti” (sauces).
Making a good Piedmontese-style Bollito Misto requires a certain amount of care and a lot of time.
We want you to try ours, we’ll be waiting for you for lunch!
