The Refuge is situated on the “Alta Via dei Monti Liguri” and it is located 1350 meters above the sea, under the “Rocca dell’Arma”, which is a stony barricade.

In the surrounding area, you can also find “Monte della Madonna della Guardia” and “Monte Armetta”.

From the height of “Valle Pennavaire”, our Rifugio Pian dell’Arma overlooks the “Riviera Ligure di Ponente”.

During bright days, our refuge offers a breathtaking view which goes from “Alpi Apuane” situated in Tuscany, to France and Corse.

Food traditions
We follow the rhythm of the seasons

Nature and love for the land are the main ingredients of our cuisine which pays attention to regional traditions, including a little bit of our imagination.

From starters to desserts, our dishes are completely homemade. Fresh pasta, vegetables coming from our vegetable gardens and bushmeat are always on the menu.

Between seasonal vegetables, meat, cheese, preserves and honey all produced by local farmers, primary products are the best choice.

We also offer mixed platter with cheese, cold cuts and samples of our recipes related to cakes and tarts.

During October, we are pleased to let you taste dishes made with “Rapa di Caprauna”, which is a typical vegetable grown in this valley.

This incredible crop is also a Slow Food Presidium. Slow food is an association with the aim of spreading the right food culture.

Furthermore, there are different types of recipes suited to every alimentary need. For this reason, don’t hesitate to communicate any kind of necessity at the time of reservation.
